Sharp Sand

Sharp Sand as a gritty texture, making it ideal for mixing with concrete for construction. It is suitable for a number of applications such as under paving, laying pavement, mixing with garden soil and under block paving.

Paving Sand

Kiln dried sand is very dry fine sand that contains no moisture. The sand is used to fill the joints of block paving and paving slabs allowing it to flow easily into the joints and gaps in block paving.

Building Sand

An essential component when it comes to mixing mortars, which means trade quality building sand is absolutely crucial as part of the initial construction stage. Mix with cement and water to make bricklaying mortar.

DRM is open to the public and trade. Visit us at Whitchurch Drive in Ketley. We're located in between the Ketley Brook roundabout and the Furrows Ford roundabout (The old Ketley recycling unit).

How much will I need to complete my project?

Due to the difference in compactability of certain products it is difficult to give an accurate amount, however as a general rule 1 cubic metre of area will require approx. 1.8 - 2.0 tonnes of material. We do stress however to do your research and where possible, ensure a professional is on hand to assist you in your project.
